Mobile bank branch

The mobile bank branch is a modular unit built into an expanding semi-trailer, designed to bring the full facilities of a banking branch to communities without one. In transport mode it behaves like any standard two-axle trailer with standard transport dimensions and 42.5 m² inside; on site, the robust Edge Shape construction expands the interior to 60 m². Above it, the mid-section of the roof carries a terrace of roughly 30 m² with a folding railing and flag mounts, reached by a folding external stair at the front.

Inside, the unit is compartmented like a working branch: a technical room housing the IT equipment, three UPS units for autonomy, the main electrical panel and the wireless network; advisory offices with client seating and a partner corner; an ATM zone with the machine built into the cabinetry; an advertising zone with illuminated panels and screens; plus a kitchenette and a sanitary group with toilet, electric boiler and storage, so staff can run a full working day on board.

The systems are sized for permanent-branch comfort: dual 12.5 kW air conditioning and full LED lighting maintain the working climate; an external connection panel takes 230 V and 380 V power; water runs from a 70-litre fresh tank and a 120-litre waste tank, with hookup to external supply where available. A professional audio system — mixer, four interior and four exterior studio speakers, two wireless microphones — supports meetings and public presentations, wireless access points provide internet and remote access throughout, and security is covered by interior and exterior video monitoring with a wireless alarm system. Every IT, communications and building function is operated from a smart-home application on a tablet, and the exterior carries six customisable flags for the operator’s branding.
