Terms and conditions
1. Who we are
This website and the online shop it hosts are operated by DELTAMED S.R.L., a company registered in Romania, with its registered office at Str. Muncii 33–37, Gilău, RO-407310, Cluj County, Romania, trade register number J1997000845120, tax identification number RO9434372, share capital 5,000 RON, telephone +40 264 371 568, e-mail sales@deltamed.ro.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Deltamed” mean the company above. “You” means the person or company placing an order.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to every purchase made through the online shop on this website. They do not apply to vehicles, conversions or equipment: those are supplied under separate written contracts negotiated case by case, and nothing on this website is an offer to sell a vehicle.
By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms in the version published at the moment of the order.
3. Your account
Orders can only be placed from a registered account. When you register you choose whether you buy as an individual or as a company; company accounts require a valid company name and VAT or registration number, which we verify against the public registers of the Romanian tax authority (ANAF) or the European Commission (VIES). You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for the accuracy of the data in your account.
4. Products
The shop sells collectible scale models of Deltamed vehicles. Product photographs and renderings are illustrative; small differences in finish, colour and detail between a model and the vehicle it represents are normal. Technical data published on a product page refers to the model, not to the vehicle.
Products are sold as collectors’ items and are not toys. Not suitable for children under 14.
5. Prices, currency and VAT
All prices are shown in Romanian lei (RON) and include Romanian VAT at the rate in force, currently 21%. Where a price is also shown in euro, that amount is informative only: it is converted at the reference exchange rate of the National Bank of Romania and the contract, the invoice and the payment are always in lei.
Business customers established in another EU Member State who provide a VAT number validated in VIES are invoiced without Romanian VAT, as an intra-Community supply exempt under Article 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC; the VAT is due by the customer in their own Member State.

6. How an order is placed
You add products to the basket, sign in, fill in the billing and delivery details, choose the delivery and payment method, and confirm the order. Before the final confirmation you can review the whole order and correct any input error by returning to the previous step or by editing the basket.
After you confirm, you receive an e-mail acknowledging that the order has reached us. That acknowledgement is not yet acceptance. The contract is concluded when we confirm that the order has been accepted for dispatch, or when we dispatch it, whichever comes first. If we cannot accept an order — because a product is unavailable, a price was displayed incorrectly, or the data provided cannot be verified — we tell you and refund any amount already paid.
The contract is concluded in English. A copy of each order remains available in your account.
7. Payment
You pay by card, through the Netopia Payments gateway. We do not offer cash on delivery. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s own secure page and never reach our servers or our staff. An invoice is issued for every order and made available in your account and by e-mail.
8. Delivery
We deliver within the European Union, through our contracted carrier. Delivery times, costs and zones are described on the Shipping and payment page, which forms part of these terms.
9. Right of withdrawal and returns
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. If a product is faulty or not as described, you have the remedies provided by law regardless of the withdrawal period. Both are described on the Returns and complaints page, which forms part of these terms.
10. Legal guarantee of conformity
Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Romanian law for a period of two years from delivery.
11. Delta Rewards
Delta Rewards is our loyalty programme. It is free, optional in use and available to every registered customer.
- You earn 1 point for each leu paid, calculated on the value of the products after discounts and excluding delivery costs.
- One point is worth 0.05 lei when redeemed. You choose at checkout whether to redeem your balance, in whole or in part; there is no upper limit, and an order can be paid entirely with points.
- Your level depends on the number of completed orders: Delta Bronze from the first order, Delta Silver from 8, Delta Gold from 15, Delta Platinum from 25. Each level carries a permanent discount on future orders: 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% respectively. Levels do not decrease.
- Points and levels are personal, have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be exchanged for money.
- If an order is cancelled or refunded, the points earned on it are withdrawn and the points redeemed on it are returned to your balance, in proportion to the amount refunded.
- Points do not expire while your account is open. They are lost only if you close the account.
- We may change the rules of the programme for the future; changes are published on this page and do not affect points already earned.
12. Availability and errors
Stock levels shown on the website are indicative. If a product becomes unavailable after your order, we tell you promptly and refund the amount paid. If a price or a product description contains an obvious error, we are not obliged to supply at that price; we tell you before dispatch and you may confirm the corrected order or cancel it at no cost.
13. Our liability
We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to comply with these terms. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity suffered by business customers. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Romanian law — in particular the statutory rights of consumers.
14. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, photographs, video, drawings, technical documentation, the Deltamed name and logo — belongs to Deltamed or is used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it commercially without our written consent. Brand names and marks of third parties appearing on vehicles or models belong to their respective owners.
15. Personal data
We process personal data as described in our Privacy policy.
16. Complaints and dispute resolution
Write to us first: sales@deltamed.ro. We answer complaints within five working days.
Consumers resident in Romania may also address the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), including its alternative dispute resolution scheme: anpc.ro/ce-este-sal. Consumers resident in another EU Member State can find the competent dispute resolution body in their own country through the European Consumer Centre network.
17. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably fall to the competent Romanian courts, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
18. Changes
We may update these terms. The version applicable to your order is the one published when you place it. Last updated: 30 August 2026.
